Welcome

Since you seem to have stumbled onto this page, I shall offer a brief description of this blog's purpose:

Which is to record my dreams, for the purpose of training dream recall, and just plain laughing at the stupidity that is my subconscious. :)

I also apologise in advance for any and all affronts to the English language that results from typing with a brain that woke up 5 minutes ago...

Cinema & Hotel

I had a couple of dreams last night.

---

The first one began with me and a friend visiting a cinema to see what was supposedly an animated Dragon Ball film. For some reason, as we were finding our seats ( which were two or three rows from the front ), I was discussing with him the pros and cons of nervous nausia. I can't remember the exact details of the conversation, however.

Upon claiming our seats, the film promptly began, with an introducion that comprised mostly of cartoony boulders floaring around the screen, and occasionally a random child character drawn in Akira Toriyama's style would appear, breaking out of one them. There was a song being played at this time, but the only lyric that I can remember from it is "Do you believe in the dragon?".

The movie itself seemed to have little to do with the DragonBall world, and was just done in Akira Toriyama's style, and centered around the relationships with several family's children and their parents. One scene comprised of some of the children falling into a pond and one who remained on the bank had to go find help.

Later( or as much as you can define this in a dream, it feels more like an instant transition ), the 'villains' of the film had shown up and were giving one of the children a verbal telling off, claiming that adding moons to their outfit made them look emo. The more moons, the more emo that they were. The main villain, who was wearing a large, red trench coat, then turned round and showed his back to the children, showing that he had three rows of moons at various stages ( crescent, full, everything inbetween ) stitched to the upper segment of it.

For whatever reason, I felt that the moons had some sort of hidden message, and tried to write down on a blank paper pad what they were, but the scene in the film changed before I got beyond the first row. I also noticed around this point that the lights were still on in the cinema.

I woke up briefly at this point, and when I got back to sleep, I had another dream:

In this one, I was viewing some dream-made-up scene from the first Panzer Dragoon game, and the Blue Dragon was talking a little about his past with his rider. He was talking about his "brother", the Black Dragon, saying its name was Faust. I don't remember anything other than the name, however.

Then the dream transitioned and I was sitting up the back of a large room in a hotel. I was with three other people, and apparently we were all staying at this place. The room was deep red in colour, and I never saw what was at the other end of it. One of the people asked me if I could bring them some tea from my room, and I set off to go get some.

I left the room and walked down a longish corridor, that had a clear glass door at the end of it, the other side of which was a rather cluttered looking, small library. It had book shelves lining the walls, and a large desk taking up most of the space in the middle, with books piled all ways on top of it. There was barely any room to move, and definitely no space for seating. The light above gave everything a sort of yellowish look.

I don't remember quite how I made it through the library, possibly another instant transition, but I was now outside my room and opening the door. Though, instead of a room on the other side, I seemed to walk into the corridor before the library again, and now I was looking for fragments of things that was in my travelling bags. Apparently the cleaning people had taken the contents and hidden it about the hotel for me to find.

I woke up soon after this.

Thoughts and observations:
Corridors & hotels again. I blame the latter on a recent trip to Edinburgh for a weekend. Hotels are probably just still on my mind.

Cruel cleaners! XD

Moons = emo. So sayeth my subconscious. Um...

Yeah, this was a pair of strange dreams. I don't really have much I can say on them, past: *lol* XD
